Specific Job Duties
Develop SQL Server reports using SSRS
Create complex reports using OLAP Cubes and/or other multi-dimensional objects. Needs to have experience developing OLAP cubes and work as a peer with the database modeler on cube development.
Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL). Develop complex SQL queries, profile and performance tune queries and reports.
Train and mentor other PD resources in SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
Create stored procedures and general SQL queries.
Education/Experience Requirements
Must have experience with large databases, both in # of rows and # of tables Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in software development, SSRS and database design.
Thorough understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server.
Thorough knowledge of one or more technologies (e.g., Web SOA, .Net, SQL Server).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation. Stays current with rapidly changing technology.df-tc
