Description
Ajilon Consulting is a Global Leader at providing workforce solution to our clients in Information Technology.

We are currently looking for a SQL resource for our client in Pacheo, CA for a contract to hire opportunity.

The candidate must have the ability to write SQL scripts to query the DB! Must perform database calls.

Also, should have exceptional SQL skills - specifically must be proficient with stored procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and support of mission critical SYBASE software applications, and interfacing with application support vendors.

Additional job duties will include:
Provide support to application users
Provide user support to company personnel
Develop user/management reports
Provide system and database administration duties as required

Qualified candidates will have:
3-5 years database administration experience required
A degree from a four-year college preferred
Expert knowledge of Sybase Administration required.
Working knowledge of Sybase SQL, UNIX and Linux
Excellent analytical skills required.
Good organization and follow up skills required.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
Advanced programming competence required.
Advanced Systems design and strategic skills preferred.
Production support experience required.
