Description
CDI is looking for an SQL Transition Manager REMOTE

Requirements:
This position will require extensive project management experience and leadership skills in addition to the SQL technical skills.
Requires excellent MS SQL DBA skills (in SQL Server 2000 and 2005) including: clustering, log shipping, replication, database mirroring, DTS/SSIS migration, data warehouse, T SQL and stored procedures.
Must be able to work out of standard hours, as required, to meet required schedules.
Must have excellent communication (written and verbal), and customer interaction skills.
This position will interface continuously with my client, and members of the SQL technical team.
Most likely, will require travel to customer sites.
Task will include managing the transition of the customer SQL environment into my clients structure of processes, and tools, to support my clients customer.

Special requirements:
SQL Server 2000 and 2005 skills.
Windows.
Project Management skills.
Excellent communication skills and customer interface skills.
Leadership skills.
Strong documentation skills

Weekend Work: Required
On Call: Needs to be on call
