Summary:
The incumbent’s primary responsibility will be to provide advanced level engineering design, detail and problem solving. The incumbent will report to an Operations Team Leader and will receive general direction from the team leader. The incumbent will also provide advanced design and process assistance based on experience in at least one area of technology. The incumbent needs to have a high level of electrical knowledge with mechanical knowledge as well.

Responsibilities:
  • Electrical equipment / systems / controls (PLC)
  • Problem solving methodology
  • Assimilate, understand and use technical information
  • Systems – machines, electrical, process
  • Read and draw electrical schematics
  • General machine design
  • Mechanical system function
  • Preventive/Predictive maintenance
  • Materials and fabrication
  • Integration of componentsdf-tc

    Experience/Skills
    Basic Qualifications:
    • 2 year technical Associate Degree, or, an equivalent of 5 years electrical/mechanical troubleshooting experience

    Other Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated competency in design and use of engineering systems and tools
    • Incumbent must be willing to relocate to the greater Tucson, Arizona area
    • Incumbent must be willing to travel 25% (International); Incumbent will provide project and tech support to Magdalena, Mexico and Villanueva, Honduras facilities
    • Bilingual is a plus; Spanish preferred
