Description
We have a long-term contract (1-2+ years) for a Test Engineer in the System Regression and System Acceptance Test organization located in McLean, VA working for US Customs. YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN TO APPLY!!! The rates are negotiable and will be determined by experience.

Responsibilities:

Develops acceptance test plans, procedures, and scenarios.
Performs testing against specifications and documents results.
Identifies and researches deficiencies.
Works with engineers to correct deficiencies. Maintains relevant documentation.
Experience in Integration, Regression and/or Functional testing of web-based applications. Experience with Mercury Interactive's TestDirector and QuickTestPro or other automated test management and scripting tools.
Ability to design and develop test case procedures, test scripts and test data based on use cases for automated and/or manual execution.
Ability to execute test scripts manually and/or with automated test tools.
Ability to analyze test results, report and track reported problems and work with development/test team members to resolve reported problems.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic test environment.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to interact with other team members and work independently with minimal guidance.


Training: WebSphere Application Server, Portal Server in clustered env, Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, 509 Certificates, MQSeries, Firewall and Security software

Additional requirement: Familiar with Oracle, UNIX and SQL. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software testing methodologies.df-tc
