Senior Software Engineer
Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008
Contract or Contract to Perm
Start: ASAP

Smartsource seeks a candidate experienced in DICOM communication and imaging. Candidate will work with a team of engineers responsible for continued and new development of veterinary specific medical imaging applications.

Applicant must have 3-5 years experience working with DICOM applications, modalities, and images in a Windows PC environment. 5+ years of experience in commercial software development. Bachelors in Computer Science. C++, C# and MS SQL Server a must. Strong background in Object Oriented Design and Programming. Strong experience in image processing, preferable in medical applications. Working knowledge of medical imaging applications. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

VB6, COM, ActiveX, PACS, RIS experience a major plus.
