Description
The Intersect Group, a leader in technology services, is currently looking for a SR Systems Engineer to join our client's team in Dunwoody, GA! This is a long term contract opportunity and our client is a leader in their industry!


Needs:


Network Monitoring


Java application support


Linux/Solaris administration


Extremely strong understanding of J2EE applications, with a focus on configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting


- Apache is a must, Garbage collection tuning, Change collectors


- JMX instrumentation


o Multi-container experience, preferably including Resin (3.x), WebSphere AS, Dynamo, JBOSS, and WebLogic (in order of preference)


o Very strong heap configuration and tuning skills


o Connection pooling, threads tuning, etc


- JMS/MQ experience, with a strong preference for WebSphere MQ or Sonic MQ


- Solid Apache HTTPD configuration experience
