Description
Robert Half Technology has an immediate opening for a SR Systems Cobol Programmer with a very stable organization. The successful Cobol Programmer will analyze the impact of changes on specific portions of the IS system. The SR Systems Analyst will be responsible to lead through road blocks , estimate the hours and completion dates for identified tasks or projects, preparation of a design for such changes, completion of coding and related JCL, and modifications to support the specified change, the unit and system test plans execution of test, and evaluation of results to verify accuracy of change. In addition, you will prepare documentation for each of the above, as well as move sheets, requirements matrix, metrics, and other turnover documentation. The COBOL Programmer will work under close supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion as well as develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.

Experience/Skills
5+ years of experience in COBOL and JCL. Candidates with PL1 and Easytrieve will be given higher consideration.
