JOB SUMMARY:
The focus of this position is architecture, design, and development of application integration interfaces between computer systems. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining a messaging architecture and middleware strategy and defining and designing the messaging and integration architecture with a focus on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies for all products. The group size will roughly be 3-8. The main focus of this group is to develop best business practices to enable applications to deliver the highest business value, deliver a stable infrastructure, reduce costs, shorten delivery cycles and to deliver quality. Short and Long Term projects include working with mission critical Enterprise Application Interfaces and Architect successful Messaging between major ERP systems.

Experience/Skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1) A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related information technology field, with coursework in an information technology specialization related to the area of employment;
2) more than six years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in complex technology projects involving application integration and middleware technologies;
3) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A) Experience on large, complex integration implementations; Advanced software development experience; Broad experience with computing architectures in an enterprise setting;
B) Responsible for the architectural design aspect of 2 or more simultaneous, significant projects;
C) In depth experience with a variety of DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.);
D) In depth knowledge of Java, J2EE, JMS, Web Services and other application integration related technologies; Preferred experience in or knowledge of: developing applications for Enterprise Service Bus or Integration Broker Technology (middleware) Products;
E) Object oriented development concepts;
F) EAI technologies (Tibco, Business Connect, JMS, or other EAI equivalents);
G) In-depth knowledge of component-based architecture, service oriented architecture and system design;
H) Exemplary verbal and written communication and organization skills.
