Description
Senior Electrical Engineer
If you have a desire to transform the mobile computing industry, we may have an opportunity for you. We are looking for a senior Electrical Engineer that has a passion for building cool consumer products.

Responsibilities:

Architect and design the next generation of Smartpens selecting cost-effective components in a constrained form factor.
Work with external CAD layout resources to develop high-volume manufacturable designs.
Assemble and debug prototypes, managing external vendors as required.
Work with product test and certification groups to ensure the highest quality.
Support manufacturing to bring existing and future designs to high volume production.
Create laboratory experiments to study new components as required.
Qualifications:

BA/BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of experience in electronic design and fine-pitch PCB development.
Experience with embedded digital, audio, and wireless designs in low-powered space-constrained products.
Some firmware experience able to get a design working reliably from the ground up.
Great organizational and computer skills, including schematic capture.
Disciplined at product verification and design-for-test techniques
Good interpersonal skills to work with engineers locally, overseas, and at vendors, and personal initiative to solve problems.
Nice to have, but not required:

Power supply, charger, and related analog design experience
Fundamentals of programming (C or Basic)
Familiar with advanced packaging and manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of battery properties and chemistries.
