Description
This position requires little supervision and can work on assignments that last up to one year. May serve as Project Leader on small to medium size implementations. May serve as primary support person on multiple applications as well as backup support for other applications. Must demonstrate solid communication skills and interact effectively with end users and outside vendors. Must have thorough understanding of work flow in multiple functional areas as well as direct and indirect interfaces to other areas both in a business and systems context. May be heavily involved in end user training and preparation of system documentation. Must demonstrate initiative and show good judgment in solving both business and system problems.



Major Responsibilities:

Regularly provides technical leadership and assists in training less experienced analysts/programmers.

Determines most cost efficient methods of data collection, storage, processing and retrieval in coordination with other IT resources.

Evaluates new technology and optimizes their use.

Develops new applications/processes in coordination with the user community.

Develops project plans for projects of up to 1-year duration.

Performs any other duties as assigned by management.

Prefer regionally local candidates or prospects with ties to the area.

Experience/Skills
Education: Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five years systems analysis and design experience in all areas of the development life cycle.

Must be proficient in VB.Net - VBA - XML/XSL-Windows 2000-MSOffice, MS Project - SQL Server - MS Analysis Services - MS Reporting Services.

skills:

Very knowledgeable in system concepts including client server, relational technology, networks, and operating systems.

Advanced skill level in multiple programming languages including a 4GL and GUI design.
Prefer regionally local candidates or prospects with ties to the area.
