Description
Our client is an internationally recognized company looking to hire a contract SQL Developer to be responsible for architecting a database for semiconductor manufacturing data and developing ETL projects with silicon vendors.

This person requires a high level of analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of data warehouse concepts and methodologies. The role requires a self-driven, passionate and experienced SQL Developer to design and implement the data warehouse, cube and reports. An ideal candidate has broad exposure to the Business Intelligence technology stack and previous experience designing and implementing data warehouses with massive volumes of data. Candidate should demonstrate exceptional database and ETL design, and be proficient in common data warehouse principles.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Designing and building a manufacturing data warehouse
  • Implementing ETL architectures and procedures
  • SQL scripting and deploying SSIS solutions

Experience/Skills
    li>5+ years related work experience required: enterprise data architecture, data integration patterns; design, implementation, and operations
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL Analysis Service (SSAS), Integration Service (SSIS), SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and related technologies (experience writing complex T-SQL and MDX queries)
  • Experience with C# preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
  • Self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven track record for shipping quality software on time
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing data a strong plus
  • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field required
