Adecco Technical is currently assisting a Client Downtown with their search for a Stress Tester. This position is a Direct Hire role. Enclosed are the full details. Position Description: Stress Tester will be responsible for evaluating planning, designing, developing, and deploying testing techniques for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles via the following tasks and responsibilities: **Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. **Ensure that testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. **Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. **Documents all problems and assists in their resolution. ** Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. **Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5 years of conducting stress testing in distributed environment using Microsoft Technology, such as, COM+, ASP, ASP.NET, Oracle or Microsoft SQL, Windows 2003, IIS 6.0. Experience using industry testing tools such as LoadRunner is Required. Must be able to manage testing efforts with minimum supervision. Strong Leadership capabilities. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
