SUN Identity Management Engineer

Acentron is seeking a Senior SUN IDM Engineer/Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Greenville, SC. The Engineer will be responsible for architecture, design and implementation of Sun Identity Management products in a global, enterprise environment.

Areas of expertise must include:

• Maintenance
• Enhancements and customization
• Support
• Security

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of policies, services, reports and life cycle rules
• Implementing upgrades and applying security patches
• Developing adaptors and workflow
• Assessing requirements from users and providing advice on enhancements
• Configuring and maintaining components
• Providing user and technical support
• Supporting large scale user adds, modifications and revocations
• Monitoring the IdM system infrastructure for potential security vulnerabilities.
• Enforcing policies, procedures, and configuration standards
• Review audit trails

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or Master's degree with 8 years or equivalent years of work experience.
• 5+ years of extensive knowledge of SUN Identity Management Suite (version 7.1) in an enterprise level environment
• Strong Configuration Management skills
• Experience with MS SQL Server, WebSphere, J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, Active Directory, Lotus Notes Identity Management, Object-Oriented design and methodology, network/system architecture and Internet technologies.
