Description

Staff Engineer/System Architect to provide support of the customer midrange computer systems and consults on issues related to support for these systems. Typical duties and responsibilities include: Coordinates production measurement efforts by users and third parties. Identifies production performance variances from standards and suggests modifications to improve. Monitors performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of operational problems and maximize product availability. Utilize resource and performance data to create process models that can be used to define capacity requirements. Employ appropriate statistical methods to analyze and characterize data for the purpose of identifying resource utilization and system/application performance trends. Documents, tracks, and communicates production performance results, analysis, and unresolved problems. Postal Clearance Required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
