Recent or
>> extensive VxWorks is a requirement.
>>. This software developer will be responsible for the development,
>> integration, and testing of software applications used in support of
>> the GO UAS program.
>>. Integrate and validate software for Real Time Embedded control systems
>> and/or application software.
>>. Develop simulation and interfacing applications for the testing of
>> Embedded software.
>>. Participate in generating testing requirements as well as developing
>> simulation software requirements.
>>. Will work closely with a small team of software developers supporting
>> R & D programs.
>>
>> QUALIFICATIONS AND NECESSARY BACKGROUND:
>>. BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Advanced
>> engineering degree a plus.
>>. 10+ years experience in Embedded and/or application software lifecycle
>> development including:
>> o defining and documenting requirements
>> o Object Oriented software architecture and design
>> o programming, building and testing
>> o source code configuration management
>>. Fluent in C and/or C++ snf knowledge of COCOA very desirable
>>. Experience with object-oriented development and model driven
>> development tools
>>. Experience with VxWorks RTOS and WindRiver Workbench required
>>. Technical hands-on experience with the following standards are required
>> o Serial communications protocols (RS232, RS422, USB, etc)
>> o Network communications (TCP/IP, UDP, etc)
>> o Aircraft communication protocols (1553, IEEE 1394, ARINC 429, etc)
>>. Experience in avionics Embedded systems
>>. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
>>. Government project experience
>>. U.S. Citizenship is required
