Description
The candidate chosen for this position will work with customers (including internal/external resources and channel partners) to solve complex, interoperability, and multi-platform related problems. They will simulate complicated enterprise environments and be able to analyze the points of failure. The qualified candidate will develop test driver code, as well as make modifications to clients code in order to fully understand and analyze problems. They will Instrument our clients product code to be able to reproduce, isolate, and solve the reported difficulties. The candidate will develop technical solutions and workarounds for self-help customer solving tools. They will work closely with Senior DREs and communicate technical issues for further assistance. df-tc

Experience/Skills
The candidate considered for this position should meet the following qualifications:
-Good analytical and problem solving skills.
-Solid foundation of engineering experience using at least one of the following Object Oriented programming languages: Java, or C++ (Java preferred).
-Engineering experience and use of at least three of the following operating systems: NT, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX or LINUX.
-Working experience with at least two of the following relational databases: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, or Informix.
-Highly skilled with commonly used software development and quality assurance tools.
-Effective at training and mentoring entry-level engineers.
-Perform complex assignments with some guidance and direction.
-Thoroughly understands and practiced software engineering and development processes.
-Understands complex Object Oriented concepts such as design patterns.
-Experience with Enterprise Java (J2EE) strongly desired.
-Very good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
-Very good verbal and written communication skills.
