Software Engineer - Java Virtual Machine RuntimeLocation: Mountain View CAJob Description:In this position you will be responsible for the development and optimization of high performance I/O and Proxy solutions. You will drive real-world optimization and performance within our critical communication software stack that connects our compute pool appliance with an existing application server.Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of hands-on development experience in the following areas:* Strong C programming skills* Strong knowledge of POSIX APIs - specifically socket, poll/select, pthread APIs* Experience with some sort of remote procedure call mechanism* BSEE or MSEE or equivalent work experience required.Additional highly desirable Skills and Experience:* Strong C programming skills* System software development experience* Knowledge of JVMs, JITs, and concurrency development* Developing and debugging multi-threaded code* Performance analysis and debugging in a client-server environmentdf-tc
