A Technician 3 is responsible for the maintenance and support of printer firmware test scripts and to ensure that proper testing methodologies and techniques are adequately applied in developed tests. Primary Responsibilities Maintain firmware tests for new and old projects Infrastructure Maintenance Implement new firmware test cases to cover new features First level triage of defects found during testing Analyze test results and take appropriate action Track potential defects and issues from a find state to resolution Prepare and maintain test documentation Be [or become] cross-trained in testing for resource sharing. Identify opportunities for best practices and process improvements. Design, implementation and execution of automated testing (scripts or programs).
