Purpose:

Provide our customers with excellent support for our software engineering tools

Qualifications Required:

A strong candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to demonstrate excellent trouble-shooting skills. Can understand and communicate technical information, analyze and solve complex problems, have strong interpersonal skills.

Needs to have a background in troubleshooting and maintenance of various Windows platforms in a client-server environment.
The candidate shall also be proficient and have a strong working knowledge of MS Office 2000 and greater.
Should be proficient with Unix (Sun/HPUX), Linux and Windows.

Knowledge Required:

Windows 2000, XP, 2003
Solaris 9/10
Internet skills, utilization of search engines
Basic Networking troubleshooting skills

Desired Experience:

1-2 years software technical support (telephone or direct customer interaction).

Working knowledge of proprietary Change Management Configuration Tool: SYNERGY

Working knowledge of Focal Point
Knowledge of Oracle.
Knowledge of Mercury Quality Center
Knowledge of Citrix

ALSO STRONGLY PREFERRED:
Programming / shell scripting experience.
Knowledge of : Eclipse, Developer Studio & perl
