SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

At the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and Springs Preserve, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the community.

The LVVWD provides water to more than one million people in Southern Nevada and is one of seven member agencies that make up the SNWA, a regional agency that addresses Southern Nevada’s unique water needs on a regional basis.

The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre family attraction, featuring museums, galleries and gardens that convey a message of sustainable living in a fun, hands-on way while celebrating the history of Las Vegas.

Salary: $72,303 – $81,341 annually, DOQ
Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm, M-F

GENERAL PURPOSE: Seeking a skilled and motivated individual to serve as systems administrator, experienced in network and system security as well as in network troubleshooting and monitoring. Requires graduation from college or university with major in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field and two years systems administration and support experience.
