Position Description: Systems Engineer I
  • Execute system setup, installation, and training services for retail locations receiving new POS equipment and related technology items; train staff on front-end operation, back-office systems and custom applications
  • Provide on-going operational and technical support to both store and retail operations personnel as it relates to front-end and back-office systems; provide verbal and written communications for implementing program changes as required; assist retail locations with resolving end of day procedures and/or balancing issues
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of alternative systems, software and/or software upgrades

    Qualifications/Skills/Additional Information:
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience with computer systems in a retail environment required; exposure to retail systems/POS implementation and/or training preferred; proficient basic Windows operating system skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, as well as experience and capability to communicate effectively and professionally within the retail environment is imperative
  • Strong customer service and training skills are desirable
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and work within deadlines
  • Flexibility to work with various types of people and able to eventually work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum 50% - 80% overnight travel required, typically Monday-Fridaydf-tc
