Description
Position Requirements:

Sales position to call of University, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Environmental and general Industrial accounts. The Application Specialist will be responsible for the following product sales: Sterile Filtration, Protein. Drug Discovery, Genomics and other general filtration products.

Individual is responsible for: the direct sales of Millipore products, manage distributor relationships, provide technical product information and demonstrations. Also responsible to grow existing business and develop new accounts . Will represent Millipore Bioscience at product shows, set-up technical seminars and product demonstrations. Will meet sales quotas.

Specialist shall reside in San Diego County, CA. Overnight travel will be required.


Qualifications:

A proven track record with a minimum of 2 years sales experience selling products to Life Science customers.
B.S. with an emphasis in Life Sciences or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and through distribution channels.
Computer competency with Word, Excel, Powerpoint.df-tc
