Position Mission: Through the development and implementation of a business development plan and value proposition to clients and strategic partners, the Business Development Director is accountable for securing sales and profit growth to deliver on the targets set for the company.

Qualifications: * College degree or equivalent business experience preferred * Six plus years of A/V event production sales experience to end users * Experience selling to diverse industry verticals * Experience selling to large accounts Fortune 100 1000 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to travel overnight as needed

Core Accountabilities: * Develop new business from a diversified industry mix * Assess market opportunities and create an annual business plan * Meet or exceed minimum revenue targets * Represent event production and staging solutions to prospective clients * Maintain the highest levels of client satisfaction and integrity as a representative Client Development: * Grow client alignment through delivery of value proposition by providing ongoing assessment of needs including but not limited to conducting needs analysis, monitoring project timelines, collaboration with strategic partners, and event production and staging assessments. * Aligns clients by managing activities that support Company initiatives and further brand positioning and market share within an agreed upon territory or market opportunity. * Develop annual business plans in conjunction with new clients and partners. * Responsible for managing positive client relationships by addressing operational issues and facilitating client relationships with the Event Production team.

Essential Skills: * Overall knowledge of the A/V event staging and production services industry * Consultative (value added) sales capabilities to VP and C-level client contacts * Effective problem solving skills * Emphasis on client service excellence and developing mutually beneficial strategic relationships to facilitate clients for life * Creative and innovative business plan development and implementation * Effective team interaction skills * Exhibits effective leadership and motivational skills * Develop marketing strategy and overseeing the implementation of same Pertinent Skills: * Audio visual technical product knowledge * Basic principles of sales and marketing * Solid understanding of event production and staging * PC proficient with company systems such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) * Effective negotiating skills * Time management skills * Effective training and development skills * Understanding of proposal writing and delivering presentations * Coordinate and effectively deliver responses to RFPsdf-tc
