Director of Sales

Location: San Francisco, CA

Our client is a leading provider in the on-Demand software You will be responsible for selling in the greater San Francisco area. The solution is sold on a subscription basis. Contracts are 2-5 years in length. Reps are paid on the entire length of the contract. The solution is sold across verticals, but is well received in finance, insurance, health care, consumer products and high tech. Average Deal size is $100-150K per year.
They have an "on-demand" model. Installation time is 2-4 weeks.

Sales Director is responsible for managing their pipeline and multiple sales campaigns from prospecting through customer close. The ideal candidate for this position will have worked this territory successfully in the past and has experience in one or more of our product areas.

Territory is San Francisco Bay Area -- Silicon Valley, Peninsula, East Bay.

Requirements:
--Previous experience selling supply chain or supply management software.
--Experience selling software to end-users in procurement, finance, legal at the executive level.
--Must have a history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
-7 years sales experience
-Track record of successful wins in Bay Area to $1Billion companies.
-Some level of experience in any one of the following: eSourcing, Contract Management, eProcurement, SRM (supplier relationship management), PLM (product lifecycle management), Business Intelligence, ERP (enterprise resource planning)
-25" travel.
-Must have home office
-English fluency
-4 year degreedf-tc
