The company provides an opportunity for substantial personal growth, participation in the growth of the process management industry and a substantial equity stake to every employee.SUMMARY:The Sales Engineer will support our sales efforts, working in Newton, MA. These sales efforts include primarily pre-sales efforts and some follow up, post-sale support to our prospects and customers. In the pre-sales efforts, the Sales Engineer will demonstrate the ProActivity products to customers and show how the ProActivity product suite fits into the customer environment. After sales support will ensure ongoing satisfaction of the customer, with the ProActivity deliverables. By combining the Sales Engineers technical knowledge with our solution, the Sales Engineer will provide vital, detailed information about ProActivity and its use in a clients business. To ensure our customers and their organizations needs are met, the Sales Engineer will also regularly liaise with other members of the ProActivity organization as well as with multiple levels at the customer organization.The Sales Engineer will also be used in consulting engagements with the customer base. This may require development onsite or in the office. It is essential for the individual in this position to learn the ProActivity suite very well and to start being productive with customers, by the end of the first month of work. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Education and Training: A Bachelors degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, a solid knowledge of PROCESS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE, and 5-7 years of presales experience. Must be skilled in Windows, and JavaKnowledge and Skills: The successful candidate will be a highly intelligent, motivated individual with a proven track record of success and attributes that include: A passion for exceeding expectations. Excellent time management skills. Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts across different lines of business Willingness to travel up to 75% during peak periods. Ability to build a quick rapport with customers. Ability to listen to customers and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs. Ability to persuade customers that our product will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery. Ability to search for new customers that could benefit from ProActivitys offerings. Ability to lead or take part in trade shows and marketing events. Perform business level and technical presentations to groups and demonstrate how ProActivity will meet customer needs. Ability to build and maintain a close relationship with customers. Ability to solve client problems by working closely with colleagues from within sales and from other departments - R&D.
