Locations:
Washington D.C. ? Primarily responsible for the Eastern Region

Job Description:
This critical position requires strong technical expertise along with exceptional customer support and related activities supporting Company's products. We have an exciting position available that will require the following background and skill level:

? Thorough understanding of networking concepts protocols, routing and services
? Understand Network Management
? Solid software application development experience and use of high level programming tools
? Experience with programming. (Pascal, C/C++, Visual C++)
Rational: You will have to be able to do some development when necessary; therefore experience with a programming language is a requirement.
? Experience with the Linux Operating System
? Solid knowledge of TCP/IP
? Understand the flow of a packet through a network
? Knowledge Security (Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention/Firewalls)
? Strong background in network security technologies
? Solid writing skills to assist with white paper creation/publication and training docs.
? Work in collaboration with sales and engineering
? Provide guidance, expertise and teamwork in all areas of interaction (customers, partners, Company staff members)
? Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical individuals
? Drive continuous improvement within Company
? Motivated with a proven track record of success
? Experience working with Service Providers and Large Enterprise customers is required
? 5+ years technical sales support experience is a must
? 10+ years networking technology experience is a must
? Ability to travel is required
? Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is a MUST
? Experience in working at platform product companies and in supporting partners is a plus
? Previous management experience is a plus
? Experience working with US Government agencies and system integrators is a plus
? Start-up experience is a plusdf-tc
