OPPORTUNITY:
Our Client, a provider of security infrastructure products and solutions to the healthcare, industrial, government, and public safety markets, has an immediate opening for a Sales Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for assisting sales representatives in providing viable and compelling solutions to their customers and for owning the technical relationships with your potential customers. The primary goal of the SE is to help drive sales in the assigned area or clients by identifying and matching potential technology opportunities with the customer's business issues and objectives, building and demonstrating proofs of concept, and for managing the technical sales aspects of the opportunity through closure.

The SE will make pre-sales calls on prospective clients, participate in local and regional seminars, help respond to RFI/RFP requests, and act as the technical account manager for customers. The SE is also responsible for staying abreast of current industry technology, trends, and competition, working with customers in small (round table) discussions as well as large (seminar) audiences, and for developing good relationships with customers/partners while providing value to their organizations. The winning candidate will not rely on the account manager for the sales portion; he or she should feel comfortable with clients in a one on one situation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in networking, wireless, or information security.

- Wide exposure to security technologies
- Excellent technical writing skills, published a plus
- A natural at technical presentation and public speaking
- Awareness of the business challenges fortune companies face
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Successful experience working with sales teams

Must be able to keep pace with the trends in the security industry and communicate solutions to common security challenges. These solutions will come in the form of product recommendations and security services.df-tc
