Description
3H Technology has an immediate need for a Sales Engineer. This position is located in Reston, VA. Join our team of technical professionals developing innovative business solutions.

Functions as the technical presentation, demonstration, and solution expert working closely with the sales team to achieve and exceed quota. Work closely with sales team to identify opportunities, develop customer solutions, and assist in sales strategy.

Qualifications include:

At least 3 years experience with networking and systems management software products such as Altiris, LanDesk, Microsoft SMS, Symantec Ghost/On Command or others. Need to have strong understanding of the business drivers for software solutions.

Job Functions:
* Technical expert for company with the capability to describe solutions and deliver excellent demos/presentations.
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of demo equipment.
* Effective at capturing customer information and recording it for sales.
* Work closely with the engineering teams for account transition to ensure successful engagements.

Requirements:
* 3+ years experience with Windows OS platforms (XP, NT/2000 server, NT/2000 workstation), DHCP requirements and specifications, TCP/IP, and NT/2000/2003 server administration required. Unix/Linux experience a plus.
* 3+ years network troubleshooting and complex installations required.
* 3+ years working knowledge of routers, hubs, and switches and knowledge of network industry and infrastructures required.
* Systems management and database industry certifications preferred.
* Experience in technical sales or equivalent preferred.
* Associate?s Degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school required. A Bachelor?s Degree is preferred.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Travel as needed (20% overnight max)
