Description
Leader of SIP-bases enhanced service solutions seeks Sales Engineer to to drive growth by assisting the sales team to identify and technically close sales opportunities.

Major Responsibilities:

. Prepare sales proposals, answer questions from potential customers, present technical product details, and perform product demonstrations.
. Maintain a technical understanding of company products.
. Assist potential customers and partners by demonstrating company products through on-site and remote installation and support.
. Evaluate the potential customer's requirements, identify system enhancements to meet those requirements, and develop proposals that close the deal.
. Ensure smooth transition of projects from the sales group to the operations group.
. Present complex technical concepts in a clear manner to customers through product demonstrations, presentations and conference calls.
. Provide technical product support as needed to support sales efforts to close new deals, realize revenue from existing deals, and assist current customers.
. Document new feature requirements for both professional services projects and for general product enhancement.df-tc


Experience/Skills
Requirements:

. Three (3) years experience in the telecommunications/networking field, working directly with customers to identify needs and provide pre/post sales technical support.
. Demonstrated ability to present company solutions and industry technology to broad audiences and senior executives.
. Knowledge of the company's products, customer base and competitors is a plus.
. A strong understanding and background in technologies fundamental to telecommunications and voice and data networking.
. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
. Proven ability to resolve pre-sales technical problems, while working with sales personnel.
. Candidates must be able to present technical concepts in a clear manner to customers through demos and proposals.
. Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills are required.

Significant travel required.
