Position Overview

Location: Toronto, Canada

Opportunity:

They are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager who has domain expertise in serving clients in the Banking and Capital Markets Vertical.

Role:

? Work closely with the Head of Sales and Engagement Management to create a market penetration strategy.
? Pro-active sales activities to convert suspects into prospects and follow up to lead to a proposal.
? Will be the primary owner of the Opportunity Management process - Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close - for new prospects or new clients within the first 18 months of opening.
? Form peering relationships with client personnel at the VP/Director level, and working (non-peering) relationships with CXOs; Sourcing for additional business.
? Work with the pre-sales functions to craft a suitable and compelling proposal for the client.
? Showcase the organizations' capabilities, value, relationships and governance in all interactions.
? Manage proposal pricing negotiations and closure process.
? Take Go-To-Market Solutions to the target market.

Quantitative parameters of the position (Metrics):

? Revenue/18-month Revenue.
? New Account Generation.
? A/ R performance and Operational Effectiveness.
? Service Line Revenue / Solutions Revenue.
? Alliance Partner Revenue.

Specific Skills:

? Opportunity assessment: Industry and customer analysis; identifying the industry "pain" points.
? Customer sales pursuit: Develop customer sponsors; identify influencers and decision makers; create and present solution proposals.
? Value identification: Position solutions in the context of a customer's business objectives; map technology solutions to value levers and identify key operational metrics.
? Pricing negotiation: Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; evaluate competitors; negotiate prices for solutions and/or pilot projects.
? Solution launch and delivery: Align technical team and customer sponsors to ensure delivery is prioritized on early achievement of business value.
? Business metric measurement: Continuous tracking of customer value realization; recommend methods to improve financial impact.

Candidate will have:

? Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration.
? A good personality, professional conduct, articulate, good communication skills and a quick learner.
? A good understanding of the organizations' business model - offshore/outsourcing and India.
? Good sales management experience and a good rolodex.
? Prior experience working with Banking and Financial Services clients in domains like Software, Services etc.
? The ideal candidate will bring 7 - 9 years experience in sales and client management expertise from an established consulting firm or enterprise software company.
? Capability to provide advisory/thought leadership to customers in their areas of business and technology.
? Experience in the high technology space, executive level presence, eager to know or have worked in the offshore space.df-tc
