Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

--Manage all technical activities concerned with product integration to ensure the successful deployment for customers

--Review customer integration requirements and assist with the development of all required documentation (Requirements, Design Docs, Test Cases, etc.)

--Design customer integration solutions to meet best practices and seamlessly integrate with existing architectures and tools

--Perform integration with 3rd party backend systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.) as required, and maintain appropriate change management, source code control, and documentation processes to ensure proper tracking and reproducibility of all additional functionality

--Participate in project review meetings with customers' technical personnel to address technical and functional requirements or questions

--Perform problem characterization, reproduction, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of product issues and customer issues which involve integration

--Recognize and escalate difficult technical/business issues within the Sales, Customer Support, and Engineering organizations

--Work with support and/or product development personnel to troubleshoot and workaround product issues

--File enhancement requests and work with product management / product marketing to understand requested product enhancements

--Provide 24x7 Professional Services as required


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

--5+ years implementing and supporting complex enterprise software solutions

--Experience in developing enterprise level Java web technologies in a Unix/Linux environment

--Proven expertise with XML, XSL, XSLT, Servlet, JSP and Struts

--Knowledge of JDBC, SQL, EJB, SOAP, WSDL a plus

--Familiarity with integration of 3rd party backend systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle and SAP

--Experience providing project management and direct support to external customers

--Excellent organizational skills -- ability to prioritize, manage, multi-task and execute multiple projects

--Superior communications skills (presentation, written, and verbal) and ability to interact effectively with all levels of professional staff

--Ability to manage ambiguity and make quick, accurate and appropriate decisions

--Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate challenging situations in a professional manner

--BS in Computer Science degree (or equivalent work experience)
