POSITION DESCRIPTION: Grow, develop and maintain relationships with broadcast Facilities, Post Production Facilities in theNew Englandterritory. Must have existing relationships in the marketplace. Experience selling strategically and dealing directly with VP Level decision makers, understanding of post production, group dynamics. Must have a solid understanding of workflow, 7+ years sales experience selling complex solutions to post production facilities. Responsibilities include: Negotiating national purchase agreements. Disseminating new product information (the knowledge transfer) to prospects and customers Probing the prospect to determine national Applications Timelines for project completions Competitive intervention Budgetary implications of planned projects Sell Avid post solutions based on needs, wants and desires of the prospect Identify trends in the Post market space, and while acting in a consultative manner to the customer provide value and Demonstrate a financial, operational and technical impact on their business Assist the prospect in defining the following process ROI – Return on Investment POI – Protection of Investment LCO – Low Cost of Ownership Feed information acquired in the field to product management (the knowledge transfer) to allow for the creation of timely and comprehensive competitive strategies Forecast opportunities Maintain the forecast on a daily basis Ensure the accuracy of the forecast Submit the forecast on a timely basis according to schedule Manage expenses to budget and report expenses on a regular basis according to company policy Sell Avid solutions to the extent that you meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets set for you Required Skills: Strong communication, territory management and organizational skills required. Must have good presentation skills, Microsoft excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint. Extensive travel required within continental United States.df-tc
