Description
A unique opportunity to join a very dynamic and growing sales team focusing primarily on outside sales of Oracle eBusiness hosting and application management, including all aspects of demand generation, qualifying, proposing and influencing prospects and, finally, closing the sale. The nature of selling outsourcing services is very a consultative process. With this in mind it is critical that a sales representative have the requisite skills necessary to identify a prospects business needs, build a trusting relationship and ultimately fulfill that need with the provision of services. This function is critical to the business growth of this company.

SKILLS NECESSARY:

Well developed network around Oracle technologies (including PeopleSoft and JDE as appropriate)
Existing relationships with Oracle Corporation sales personnel; Oracle VARs; Oracle implementation and system integration firms; and existing Oracle clients nationally
Sufficient Oracle technologies knowledge including future technology direction
Intimate knowledge of the hosting, application management, and outsourcing industry including pricing models, services, contracts structure, SLAs
At least five years of sales experience in commission based roles
Ability to develop successful strategic sales pursuit plans
Proven ability to gather prospect requirements and participate in technical solution design.
Experienced in Marketing / Lead Generation activities as required including attending trade shows, and following up on direct marketing activities.
Good interpersonal skills required in dealing with all levels of prospects, customers, Management and all disciplines within the company.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent public speaking skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels staff and management at prospects, customers and internally.
Ability to independently create and articulate well structured sales proposals.
Ability to write professional presentations, speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.

EDUCATION: Four year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, engineering).

YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years in a sales position at a managed services/outsourcing organization selling to executive level professionals (CEO, CIO, CFO, etc). Experience should include broad knowledge of hosting/managed services, information systems, including application software, database, hardware and network configuration, and the integration of all.
