This organization has an immediate opening for an Enterprise Solutions Architect.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for providing sales support for major and strategic sales opportunities in the region, delivering key presentations for seminars and strategic marketing opportunities, delivering workshops, and executing on the delivery of complex technical solutions.

The Solutions Architect is also responsible for assisting in the closure of sales opportunities by working directly with the assigned sales personnel to develop and execute an account plan that meets both the requirements outline by the prospective customer and the sales objectives. This includes closing the opportunity in a timely manner and increasing the size of existing implementations through active account management.

Our client's software lets companies improve and direct corporate performance by enabling all of the key steps in the management cycle - from planning and budgeting, to measuring and monitoring performance, to reporting and analysis.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience
  • 3+ years in a sales, pre-sales, and presentation capacity
  • 3+ years in a client/server development environment
  • 2+ years experience Business Intelligence application analysis / design / development / delivery- (knowledge of Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Hyperion, Crystal Reports, etc. in both Windows (NT, W2K) and UNIX (AIX, SUN, HP-UX) environments
  • Data Warehouse / Data Mart design, development, and delivery including ETL (data extract/transform/load) experience- relational/star schema modeling and design
  • Skilled with RDBMS technology (Oracle, Sybase, Informix, DB2, SQL*Server)
  • SQL development experience (ability to read/write SQL required)
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in data warehousing (Kimball or Inmon) strongly preferred

    Additional Desired Skills:
  • Team leadership skills; tactical and strategic thinker; implementer
  • Experience in Web/Internet technology, HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript experience a strong plus
  • Solid interpersonal (oral and written) skills
  • Related college degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Travel required (50% - 75%, Monday through Friday)

    Education:
  • Bachelors degree required (advanced degree a plus!)
