Description
Are you an experienced and highly motivated sales professional? If selected for this important role, you will serve as the Sales Manager for the Masterfoods USA Chocolate Business Development Team (BDT). You will be a cross-functional liaison throughout the business and with other cross-functional teams, and you will provide hands-on execution against the majority of the BDT sales team initiatives. In order to develop integrated and ready-to-sell customer programs, you will need to interact closely with many internal and external resources. Therefore, great communication skills will be integral to your success!

Good analytical skills will also critical, as you will need to provide detailed analysis of the marketplace and of key programs and activities such as new item launches, major distribution drives and special packs, then leverage that knowledge into Best Practices to be shared with other teams. You will also provide analysis on key competitors. In addition, you will manage and monitor the progress of special and ad hoc projects, as well as the coordination and formulation of brand-specific communications. Our Winning Candidate will Possess:
* A four year college degree.
*********** Must have solid experience with a top selling, premium chocolate maker ***********
* 3 to 5 years experience in Sales, including field sales experience calling on buyers and retail stores, which demonstrated customer focus, an understanding of category leadership as well as knowledge of consumer branding, communication, promotions and syndicated data.
* Good organizational, analytical and prioritizing skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills: verbal, written, listening and making presentations to all levels of mgmt.
* Willingness to travel as required, and to work periodic weekends due to travel, conferences, etc.
* Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.df-tc
