Sales Manager

Bankcard/credit card processing Sales Management position in our clientâ??s Regional Sales Group portfolio, which focuses on customers who process up $150 million annually for this west coast based industry leader in electronic payment transactions. Your team will have up to 10 sales people

? Prospective client base comprised of companies in the following sectors...retail, mo/to, T&E, catalog
? Expand existing bank relationships that meet the full range of their financial/business needs; through serving leads from the Retail and Corporate Banking groups, as well as other business partners, and developing new merchant business from self-source efforts within an assigned market.
? Your team will work out of a bank branches and establish/nurture partnering referral relationships with various bank employees. 60%+ of your sales teamâ??s leads will emanate out of the banking system.
? You will take ownership of obstacles to sales and service and communicate recurring obstacles to senior management.
? Participate in sales planning, individual performance planning, team meetings, business development activities, training, and mentoring activities to support achievement of your teamâ??s corporate sales goals.
? An Ideal candidate you will have spent time in sales or relationship management function within an acquirer/processor. Bankcard sales (credit card processing), financial services and/or consultative selling experience a must.
? 5+ years outside sales and/or banking management is required.

Duties include:
â?¢ conducting direct performance reviews
â?¢ motivating and managing a sales group; promoting prospecting even though 60% or leads come from bank
â?¢ maintaining relationships with the bank
â?¢ collaborating on new bank promotions (i.e.; generating new leads/referrals)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
â?¢ Aggressively generate new business
â?¢ Work closely with Bank partners other internal departments
â?¢ Attend Bank partner meetings and industry trade shows when appropriate
â?¢ Establish relationships with vendors

Territory: Minneapolis, office based in corporate building Tower

Travel: as needed, less than 20%

Compensation: depending upon your level of experience, the salary range is flexible...$67 to 82k, plus extremely competitive annual bonus that at plan will generate a $120k+ w2, comprehensive benefits package.df-tc
