Ajilon Consulting has an opening for a Salesforce.com Developer in Cherry Creek for a long term position. Looking for a Senior Salesforce.com (SFdc)Developer. Minimum requirements as follows:

ROLE PURPOSE:
Central point of contact for SFDC projects and enhancements. Have a passion for SFDC, continue to learn the SFDC enhancements, be enthusiastic about learning new functionality and applying to business needs. Responsible for the planning and analysis of business systems requirements for new systems, system changes or enhancements in coordination with business users, management, other IT resources and/or vendors. Works with business partners to identify practical solutions through existing or new business systems technology. Responsible for the administration and ongoing support of applications and other technology in cooperation with the business and other areas of IT. Typically works on projects and supports applications that impact individual departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
. Supports both project and on-going support/maintenance activities related to SFDC CRM and other related application systems.
. Develops in-depth knowledge and proficiency of supported business areas and engages business partners in evaluating opportunities for process integration and refinement.
. Ability to develop strong relationships with managers of customer/user groups to support user adoption, ensure proper use of applications, and productive growth and change around the application and corresponding business processes'
. Conducts research on best practices and industry/functional trends.
. Identifies specific business requirements as communicated by a sponsoring business area, including cross-referencing requirements articulated by multiple business areas.
. Organizes and facilitates meetings/workshops where business requirements and application objectives are articulated, accurately captured and maintained/distributed appropriately.
. Ability to take a lead role in cross-functional and cross-departmental change management team and facilitate productive discussions around proposed application feature/functionality enhancements and to ensure these changes are consistent with executive vision.
. Assists business areas in developing ROI strategies of proposed solutions and interpreting cost/benefit analysis for presenting/ communicating back to Senior Management.
. Assists Project Leads/Managers in determining high-level project goals that serve as benchmarks of overall project/product success.
. Prepares status reports and presentations for various types of audiences and levels of management as required.
. Assesses complete project work plans and executes assigned tasks/ deliverables according to defined timetable in a quality, detailed and timely fashion.
. Assists in the development of testing, training development/support, and launch plans as required to aid in delivery of a quality product, designed for user acceptance and adoption.
. Solid object-oriented coding ability; Java or Java-like language preferred. Apex coding a plus, but not mandatory.
.Working knowledge of Exact Target and VisualForce a plus.
. Operates as primary system administrator and application configuration expert for SFDC CRM, including but not limited to the following activities:
. Configuring standard UI options for groups of users
. Creation or deletion of custom-defined fields in the application
. Updating of custom-defined page layouts and record types
. Developing or modifying custom workflows
. Maintaining the Role Hierarchy and Territory Management Rules as the organization changes structure over time.
. Assisting with bulk imports of lead, contact, or account data after the go-live date
. Maintaining security profiles and access rights for users within the application
. Configuring shared, custom reports
. Escalating issues to SFDC Technical Support as required
QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
. 2-5 years hands-on experience with the configuration and ongoing administration of SFDC is required
. Experience with SFDC API, SOAP messaging, integrations with other enterprise applications is preferred

. Experience in analysis of business process, workflow and modeling.
. Experience in analysis of computer applications that cross numerous operational and servicing disciplines.
. Experience working with various types of service vendors in the Information Technology and Mutual Funds industries.
. Experience working in a task-oriented environment by where project management practices and disciplines are the key method towards job execution.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information technology concepts to non-technology personnel.
. Strong interpersonal skills, with all levels of management, staff, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
. Working knowledge of prevalent PC operating systems, networks, tools.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
. Three years experience in business and systems/workflow analysis.
. One year experience evaluating products and services and managing complex application projects.
. One year experience in the Mutual Fund industry preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:
. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
. PC usage up to 100% of the time.
. Office equipment such as telephone, copier, and fax machines, etc.
. Cellular phone or digital pager may be required.
. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.
