This is a GREAT opportunity with a very well known company!
Sarbanes Oxley expert - with 404 experience.

Description
In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop an IT controls readiness function for multiple clients - you will work within the Professional Services team to develop standards for companies looking to implement Sarbanes

The chosen candidate will help prepare companies for controls audits using his/her extensive knowledge of IT controls. The position requires working with a variety of departments within CIT as well as developing strong partnerships with our internal customers, primarily Quality Assurance, General Audit, and Finance.

CIT sustains audits that are performed by external parties and internal compliance and general audit departments. This role will be responsible for coordinating audit activities from start to completion. Such activities will include determining the audit purpose, managing preparatory activities (including preparing relevant CIT personnel for the audit), preparing audit response documentation, and tracking corrective action commitments made by CIT management to ensure closure.

During the course of audits, you will work with appropriate personnel and the auditors to field questions and support the members of CIT who are audited. You will also assist with making recommendations on corrective actions.

As part of regular inspection preparatory activity, you will hold CIT inspection preparatory meetings with appropriate CIT personnel, as necessary. You will also participate in inspection preparatory activities that occur in other areas in order to stay aware of issues that are relevant to CIT's inspection preparedness. Additionally, you will work with CIT personnel to identify areas of risk of non-compliance with procedures/regulatory commitments/requirements and develop and implement plans to mitigate those risks.

This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining controls documentation - including maintaining the documentation for Sarbanes -Oxley 404 - to ensure that documented policies and procedures reflect current departmental practices. Other activities you will perform include maintaining a roster of primary and backup presenters who will speak for the various areas of CIT, staying informed of changing regulatory agency policies, and guiding CIT accordingly. You will train the CIT staff on how to participate in audits and establish a process to develop competence within CIT on audit processes and responses.

Requirements
7 years of experience evaluating systems and process controls. Strong background in internal controls as related to financial systems policies. Strong understanding of data analysis and software audit practices. Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to successfully influence others to achieve objectives in an environment of competing priorities. Highly analytical with attention to detail. Excellent written and interpersonal skills. College degree preferred.
