Description
Scientific Application Trainer Responsible for developing and delivering hands-on training for scientific applications. The Scientific Trainer/Curriculum Developer is a highly specialized triple professional, with expertise in science, training, and computer applications. Curriculum development, training presentation, answering student questions, and other support roles outside of the classroom. The following are specific responsibilities:Communicates effectively with Project Manager and staff on projects and product development.Interfaces with the client for training events per Project Managers discretion.Demonstrates high level of proficiency in technical translation, listening and oral communication skills along with the ability to assess others ability to comprehend.Adapts communication to individual needs while effectively managing conflict.Shows ability to seek and assimilate information from several sources, investigate issues and makes informed decisions based upon discretionary judgment.Exhibits advanced level of self-direction, setting an example for professionalism in conduct and appearance, training standards, and technology skills.Demonstrates advanced level of flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines.Fulfills all requirements of a Trainer as required.Operates within the scope of responsibility and maintains high degree of ethical standard specifically in regards to Client confidentiality.Prepares and provides training sessions and demos to customers.Maintains responsibility for individual equipment and other systems which facilitate training event.

Requirements:

The Scientific Trainer has either a Masters or Ph.D. in chemistry or the biological sciences, with at least 5 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. General scientific knowledge, including a comfort level in working with chemical structures, is required for all aspects of the job,
