Description
My client is expanding their search technology team and is looking for an individual who is innovative, creative, and highly technical to help drive SEO (search engine optimization) and internal search programs.

The Search Engineer will be a key member of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the search platform and technology solutions for our search-related initiatives, including but not limited to internal site search, search engine optimization, and search experience across the family of sites.

Specific Responsibilities include:

Set up and configuration of internal search engine and spiders.
Administration of search engine and indexing of sites.
Integration of search engine with web applications and content management system(s).
Creation of scripts for document processing.
Limited front-end / UI development.
Working with vendor to migrate search platform and successfully implement and deploy search solution for troubleshooting search platform implementation and on-going maintenance issues.
Managing implementation of change requests and issue resolutions.
Becoming the search technology engineering lead and subject-matter-expert for providing support regarding search-related initiatives for the organization.
Conducting evaluations for sites with respect to search technology and optimization.
Creating recommendations for sites with respect to search technology and optimization.
Assisting with creation of documentation for search-related initiatives.df-tc
