May perform one or more of the following:

This Information Management Specialist will be primarily responsible for the day to day administration of the MOVEit DMZ and MOVEit Central applications. This will include the creation and/or modification of MOVEit Central tasks, creation and/or deletion of MOVEit DMZ accounts and general troubleshooting. There will also be some general Windows administration required in this role.

The candidate will also become a member of the Enterprise Applications team that will be assigned full time to existing and new Shared Services projects. Assignments to the project will be long term, to support a project through the entire development/testing cycle and support in production. Some on call support will be required.

Support responsibilities will be provided in the areas of:
  • Project liaison during the entire system development life cycle, including documenting the results of the prioject
  • Application tuning and troubleshooting
  • Production support and release deployment
  • Training and knowledge transfer

    Experience with any FTP server software (especially secure FTP packages) would be very helpful.

    Four-year degree with technical background in software development is preferred.

    This position requires a four-year college degree or equivalent work experience and at least two years in a data processing environment is preferred, with emphasis on production support. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an overall familiarity with the Windows OS. The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. The candidate must have an excellent ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with both technical and non-technical staff and clients. The candidate must have strong deadline, and task management skills. Sound discretionary judgment skills are needed. The candidate must also be flexible in learning new tools and techniques required to support a project through the Life Cycle Development. Skill level tests in written communication and software application aptitude may be required during the interview process. At a high level must understand how systems communicate with each other over a network and be comfortable with diagnosing problems between systems.
