Description
Wonderful opportunity to lead the security architecture practice for our very well funded non-profit client in Montgomery County. This is a contract-to-hire position.

MUST HAVE:

A minimum 5+ years of professional experience with security software development in J2EE and .NET environments. 10+ years minimal overall software development experience.

Expertise in security architectures and design principles. Must have a broad view of security including understanding of: authentication frameworks, standards and products; fine-grained authorization/entitlements frameworks and standards; coding practices to prevent exploits; and data security.

In-depth understanding of security principles as they relate to software and networks (CISSP a plus).

Ability to quickly learn the fundamentals of new technology and consistently evaluate its security needs according to policy, best practice, precedent, and business needs.

Clear communication skills, including the ability to assemble and give design presentations to a technical audience.

Be able to read, review, and extend existing software to add minor features; ability to make use of existing libraries of code to reduce development cycle time and code replication.

Possess a strong understanding of cryptographic primitives and how they are appropriately applied to secure communication.
