POSITIONS FOR KEON Shift: Monday - Friday 10:30am-7:30pm CST (MUST SIT IN HOUSTON TX)

Security & Keon System Administrator, responsible to provide 24x7 Security support in a heterogeneous server (Sun, HP, IBM) environment. The Environment Consists of RedHat Linux, Solaris 8, 9 and 10 and AIX Servers in Production. Responsible for the deployment and configuration of security products onto new UNIX hosts, including the design of controls. Primarily this relates to the FoxT BoKS Technologies and CA eTrust Access Control security products. This includes consultation regarding the best configuration fit for the security controls placed around each specific application. Perform support of the existing production security infrastructure (Masters, Replicas and Clients) globally. Perform Level 2 support for the ITRM ID Administration and Monitoring functions. Perform consultation relating to operational security and the on-boarding of Servers into the UNIX Remediated Environment. Identification and escalation of technology risks as appropriate. Ongoing Development of scripted solutions to improve the functionality supplied to, or the efficiency of the BAU Security Teams. Required to escalate to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports. Provide timely resolution to break/fix issues.

Bachelor of Science degree or higher required

FoxT BoKS UnixControl (previously known as RSA Keon or Security Dynamics BoKS)

CA eTrust Access Control (previously known as Memco SeOS)

Sun JES Directory Server

McAfee PGP eBusiness Server for UNIX

Bespoke reporting and scripted utilities

SSH/OpenSSH

Understanding of security best practices for multi-tiered operating systems

Advanced Scripting abilities a must in at least the following languages: Shell, Perl

Minimum of 5 years experience of working with UNIX/Linux Servers in a production environment.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to develop strong client relationships

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Tivoli and SunMC

Ability to write Shell Scripts

Ability to work under pressure

Knowledge of MS Suite a plus
