Assignment Capsule
Reports directly to a Technology Manager in Security Administration. This position works to manage and complete departmental activities as directed by the Director/Manager of the department. Consultants on the project team are responsible for the planning and implementation of tactical and strategic goals as defined by the IT Security Administration management team. They are also responsible for ensuring that processes are created and optimized to meet the objectives of the security controls that are put in place to meet the information security needs of Humana's stakeholders. In addition, they are also expected to remediate any audit issues identified internally or externally. Other critical aspects of this role:
Consultants should understand regulatory and technical theory that underlines IT Security Administration operations.
They should understand basic network principles, access controls, and IT Governance.
Knowledgeable of IT project management methods and best practices.
Be well versed in business analysis and process improvement methodologies.
Consultants should also be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products.
An above average understanding of ITIL concepts (perhaps including ITIL Foundation Certification).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Professional certifications that would indicate foundational knowledge would be CISSP, Security+, CISA, PMP, CBAP, and Six Sigma.
