Description of Work: This contractor will: perform hire, transfer, and termination processing for all Duke Energy workers - perform access violation reporting and follow up - create procedures for undocumented work activities and services - create LAN ids, RACF ids, and UNIX ids - reset passwords on all platforms - grant access to file shares, RACF datasets, RACF groups, and AD Groups - perform quarterly audits of security access - resolve IT Security access issues - participate in an after-hours "on call" rotation supporting the entire IT Security Administration department. This work is not suitable for an individual who becomes overwhelmed by volume of requests or for an individual who cannot work without a clearly defined procedure to follow.

Description of Work Environment: This contractor will play a key customer support role in Duke Energy Corporation-s IT Security Administration Department. The contractor will be responsible for providing user id and access administration in a team environment. The contractor will be responsible for executing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly SOX Control Activities. The contractor will be part of a close knit team with an emphasis on administration ensuring compliance with various regulations (SOX, FERC, NERC, etc). The individual must be able to work in an environment where the activities are extremely manual. The individual must be flexible and capable of tackling complex problems, breaking problems down into logical tasks for resolution, and potentially compiling the tasks into a procedure.df-tc


Experience/Skills
Solid experience with UNIX and RACF id administration.
