Description
Large and successful healthcare organization seeks an experienced CheckPoint firewall security engineer. Opportunity will be either a permanent or contract-to-hire arrangement.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrated experience with Check Point products (3+ yrs)
- A strong Unix (Solaris, AIX, HP/UX), Linux and Windows system-level knowledge
- TCP/IP networking experience to the packet level and knowledge of DNS, DHCP
- Internet Security technology experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- HP-UX, AIX, FreeBSD, H.323, VoIP, MGCP and routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP Programming
- Experience with the following: C/C++ and UNIX shell scripts (Korn, Bourne, and C Shell).
