Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Lead Monitoring function in support of IS Governance information security Strategy., to include monitoring of applications, systems, and networks for regulatory compliance. 2. Possess excellent conceptual knowledge of applications, systems and networks subject to monitoring. 3. Coordinates remediation of information security configuration issues related to aligning policy with enforcement through monitoring. 4. Responds to security events as required by the IS Governance group. 5. Collaborates with and apprises Manager of Information Security of critical issues related to Information Security and works effectively to support department and corporate goals. 6. Interacts with IS Operations staff, where appropriate, ensuring that services are proactive and/or highly responsive, and the IT infrastructure is current with new releases and upgrades as it relates to Information Security. 7. Sustain current knowledge of developments in the IT industry that may benefit or reduce cost for customers as it relates to Information Security and monitoring. 8. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications: 1. Security certification: CISSP (preferred) or CISA. 2. Minimum eight (3) years related experience in a fast-paced information technology environment. 3. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant business knowledge and experience supporting relevant business applications. 4. Ability to advise departments on how to implement and streamline existing security processes. 5. Proven ability to lead, coach and provide leadership to junior staff, including development of goals, objectives and performance success criteria. 6. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact confidently with individuals at all levels; must be dedicated to a high degree of customer service with the ability to work well in a team environment. 7. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and perform well under extreme time constraints and demands during emergency conditions. 8. May require quick access via cell phone or pager in addition to responses to after hours security events. 9. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, supervisors, co-workers, staff, vendors, executive management and other constituents. 10. Occasional travel to client sites and other company locations.
