The SAP Security Administrator position is essential to ensure
the company is compliant with internal controls and external
regulations. As such, the SAP Security Administrator is
responsible for ensuring SAP role-based authorization is
properly developed and maintained in the SAP enterprise
systems. They must ensure new roles are implemented in all
systems where this is in scope and that the methodology and
policies are adhered to. Furthermore, any access rights that
are system-wide or may have an impact on the system
availability or business data system-wide are to be properly
protected and monitored by the SAP Security Administrator. This
person will also be responsible for ensuring local segregation
of duties issues are addressed and resolved appropriately.
Working closely with the user and IT communities will be
expected, as the SAP Security Administrator is also responsible
for identifying role-based authorization improvement
opportunities and implementing new procedures within the GSP
templates. The ideal candidate will ensure the user community
needs are met while, at the same time, meeting corporate
