Description
We are searching for an experienced Security Analyst to work full time for one our clients in Germantown, MD.

Unfortunately we are unable to work on a corp-to-corp basis with this role.

You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients NOCC data and assets. You will manage and maintain security servers, perform vulnerability assessments, investigate suspicious activity, and review security logs. Position requires on call support.

The salary is negotiable, but we are unable to pay any relocation costs.

Experience/Skills
To be considered for this position you must have the following:

Strong analytical skills, knowledge of TCP/IP, and background in UNIX.
Direct experience with IDS/IPS, firewall, and SEM/SIM tools.
Preference is given to applicants with SANS technical certifications (i.e. GCIA, GCFW, or GCIH).
An understanding of Windows server, shell scripting, Nessus, XSS/SQL injection or other database attacks are all a plus.
Familiarity with ISO 17799 and PCI standards is also desirable.
